Angel City Drive In.

A friend of mine, Pnut works with a group the puts together an awesome event. Two times a month in downtown LA you can go to a drive in. That takes me back to my childhood. It seems like recently all the drive in's are closing down. Its very sad, but it makes for fun times when people put their heads together and host their own.

I am very excited to spread the word about Angel City, cause I think the idea is great.
Plus, the movies they screen are fun.
Here are some of the movies they have screened so far:
Meatballs
True Romance
Office Space
The Professional
The Princess Bride
Big
Xanadu

The next two are:

May 9th - Rear Window
Gates: 7pm, Show: 8:30pm

May 23rd - Ferris Bueller's Day Off
Gates: 7pm, Show: 8:30pm

With line ups like that I see Angel City Drive In taking off.

Tix are $10 a person, and if you have a car cool, if not bring lawn chairs and sit on the astro turf.
There is food for sale, and when the flick is over there are several bars and restaurants in the area.

Here is the link to their website, just click on the card that says Angel City Drive In for more information.
