Yes this Saturday Amoeba will be hosting Record Store Day!!!!
What is Record Store day you ask... well let me tell you. (and here is the link to the official Record Store Day, with a list of participating record stores.
Record Store Day is a day all 3 of their stores will have DJ's, day of exclusives, giveaways, including gift certificates. There will be special guest artist appearances, thats pretty cool. But really don't fret... record stores around the U.S. are participating... so you don't have to live in Los Angeles, San Fran or Berkeley to take part, just click on the link above and get more info.
So go, spend money on independent music, go hang out with the skinny pants wearing guys who know waaaaaayyy to much about music and have a good ol' time.
